When it comes to wedding fashion, the best suit isn’t just about fit, it’s about feeling like yourself. For LGBTQ+ couples, that often means finding attire that reflects both personal style and identity, without compromise. That’s where Generation Tux shines. With a growing collection of suits designed for all bodies and all genders, the brand is redefining what wedding wear can look like.

What better way to showcase Generation Tux’s commitment to inclusivity and modern sophistication than to have a real LGBTQ+ couple model the products in a wedding ceremony?

To achieve this, we created an atmosphere for an intimate fall wedding on the edge of the forest, calling on inclusive LGBTQ+ wedding vendors in Atlanta, where Equally Wed is headquartered. Equally Wed partnered with Amanda Summerlin, a local LGBTQ+ wedding photographer renowned for their work in destination elopements and intimate weddings for LGBTQ+ couples. Kiraflora, my boutique floral design studio for weddings and events, provided the ceremony installation of pink hydrangeas, garden roses, stock and astilbe, and complementing lush wedding bouquet and boutonniere. Kylie Bowles, celebrity hair stylist and makeup artist, styled my hair with loose romantic curls and applied a neutral glam look for my makeup. Content creator Drei Alquiros, owner of Creative Panda Design, filmed for our social and video content, capturing our playfulness, the love between a longtime married queer couple, and the star of the show, Generation Tux.

I wore one of the new women’s suits available for purchase—the Women’s Navy Suit Jacket and matching Navy Suit Pants—while Maria donned the Men’s Navy Blue Notch Lapel Suit, one of Generation Tux’s most popular rental styles. Together, our wedding looks were the perfect balance of classic and contemporary, proving that when love looks this good, tradition can make room for everyone.

What’s a wedding without a party, right? Maria and I threw ourselves a micro wedding reception with a picnic in the forest featuring a tiny wedding cake, personal prosecco bottles, floral vignettes and small bites. Then we read each other poetry while lounging on throw pillows, testing the comfort and versatility of Generation Tux’s suits. Spoiler alert: They passed! We were able to move with ease while switching positions for camera angles, and the suits didn’t wrinkle or pull.

A Perfect Fit for Every Body
For too long, wedding fashion has been divided by gendered expectations. But more and more couples are breaking those molds, choosing attire that makes them feel powerful, authentic and beautiful in their own bodies. Generation Tux has met that moment by designing collections that honor diversity in style and in body shape.

The Women’s Navy Suit Jacket and Pants that I wore felt tailored to my body, crafted from high-quality materials that move comfortably while maintaining a clean, structured silhouette. Designed to flatter without forcing a traditionally masculine or feminine look, this suit is about balance, empowering women, nonbinary individuals, and anyone who wants a refined option that feels right for them.

Maria’s Navy Blue Notch Lapel Suit from the rental collection proves why Generation Tux is a go-to for wedding parties nationwide. It’s timeless and sleek, featuring a classic navy hue that complements just about any wedding palette. Paired with a crisp white shirt, a flowered pink pocket square, and coordinating brown ombre shoes and belt, all provided by Generation Tux, the look came together effortlessly. And because Generation Tux handles fittings, shipping and returns with ease, it’s stress-free from start to finish.
