They started off their day getting ready together at the hotel, but kept their distance in order to be surprised for the first look, which was so intimate and memorable. Afterwards, they made their way down to the venue. At the ceremony, both mothers walked down with the grooms and their backdrop was a large tree and hanging candles. At the reception, they had a five course sit down meal with wine pairings, which was extremely important to these two wine aficionados. They also had mini wedding cakes that matched their large cake, a modern twist on things! Alex and Howie’s wedding was complete with modern touches, a live band and a fun dance party.
