Actor Stephen Baldwin hasn’t been shy about his evangelical Christian faith and was quick to defend Kirk Cameron for speaking out against homosexuality. Now he’s conversing with Rosie O’Donnell on “The Rosie Show” to clarify some things, namely his views on gay marriage.
“It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it,” Baldwin explains while noting that O’Donnell was one of the gay people in his life that he “loved and admired.” He then adds, “I have never said the gay community doesn’t have any rights.”
“Do gay people have the right to marry each other?” she asks the actor.
“Absolutely,” responds Baldwin. “In their world.”
“Not in your church, but legally in a union?” asks O’Donnell.
“Absolutely,” says Baldwin.
