Portia de Rossi is now Portia DeGeneres, a Los Angles Superior Court judge has declared. The Better off Ted and Arrested Development star officially changed her name in a private hearing on Thursday. In a statement, the newly minted Mrs. DeGeneres, who married talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in August 2008, said, “I am thrilled to legally adopt my wife’s name. I will continue to use Portia de Rossi for professional purposes.”
