Wedding planning season is in full swing, which means you’ll be seeing lots of posts and ads on events geared towards brides and grooms. A wedding event will feature a number of local vendors where couples can browse portfolios, touch and feel stationery and taste menu options and wedding cakes.
On Sunday, Feb. 12th, Williamsbrides, held in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, will showcase some of Brooklyn’s top vendors at The Space at Fifty North Third. In addition to meeting with florists, bakers, stationers and other wedding resources, VIP guests are invited to attend a panel discussion, Practical Planning for a Unique Event: How to Create a Wedding that Represents You, moderated by moi and featuring: Bernadette Smith (14 Stories), Sara Wilson (Huffington Post Weddings), Xotchil Gonzalez (A.a.B. Creates), Loren Michelle (Naturally Delicious) and Ray Jarrell (Jarrell Entertainment).
The event is from 1 to 5 p.m., but VIP ticket holders will be admitted at 11 a.m. for a chance to view the vendors early and listen to what is sure to be an interesting, and informative, discussion. Don’t forget to bring a notebook and pen!
