Abby Wambach and Glennon Doyle Melton are engaged! The retired U.S. soccer player and author of Forward: A Memoir and the creator of Momastery and author of multiple best-selling titles, including her latest, Love Warrior: A Memoir, announced their good news on Saturday, Feb. 18, on Instagram.

Wambach and Doyle Melton announced that they were a couple November 2016. This will be the second marriage for both of them. The two have been fairly open about their relationship, a fact their fans appreciate. Doyle Melton’s a Christian blogger as well as a recovering alcoholic. Wambach also is a recovering alcoholic. Their openness about their struggles have proven to be a beacon of encouragement of many.
