Beth and Addison’s wedding was planned for October 8, 2016, but Hurricane Matthew had other plans. The couple didn’t let the weather get them down, They tied the knot in the backyard of a family member’s home when the weather cleared up and rescheduled the planned celebration for March.

Their second big day was celebrated with all their guests in March 2017. The wedding took place at an upscale barn, decorated with a vintage chic theme and burgundy, blue and white color scheme. To celebrate before the wedding day, Beth went glamping in Asheville, and Addison had her “last flamingle” at the beach.

On the day of the big March celebration, both Beth and Addison had a Maid of Honor as well as a wedding party made up of members who wore dresses who were referred to as bridesmaids, and the ones who were in pants were “groomettes.”

“We are both very creative and crafty!” shared Beth. “Almost all the decorations were made by the two of us-the aisle signs, the memory sign, the bar signs, seating chart, globe, buffet/cake table. We both love to travel which was infused in our decorations through our globe and vintage suitcases throughout the venue. Aside from decorations, Addison surprised her dad by throwing a few softball pitches to him; it was something the two of them did while Addison was growing up. Beth infused some of her personality through her outfit-a Virginia Tech handkerchief and orange shoe laces, taking photos with her groomettes in their snapback hats.”
