Lennie and Pearl’s love story = #relationshipgoals

Lennie Gerber and Pearl Berlin met and fell in love nearly half a century ago. They were legally married in Maine in 2013, but their marriage was not recognized in their home state of North Carolina until 2014. #LoveWins
June 2 is their third wedding anniversary and 50th anniversary, and Lennie posted this on her Facebook page’s public feed:
“In a few hours, on June 2nd, Pearl & I will celebrate our 50th anniversary. We were wed on our 47th anniversary, so we also will celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Look for this picture (taken by our friend Arlene Gutterman on the night before our wedding) in the anniversary page of the Sunday News-Record. We are thrilled to have reached this milestone, still so full of love and commitment to each other.”
