During a picturesque Colorado summer, 14 wedding vendors teamed up in July for a two-day styled wedding shoot featuring Kayle and Seyed—a real, head-over-heels-in-love gay couple.
Nestled in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area, the shoot took place at Colorado’s newest ranch wedding venue, the Arapaho Valley Ranch in Grandby, Colorado. The ranch offers couples and their guests a weekend of outdoor activities from kayaking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, Jeep tours, and more. The 200-acre ranch sits at the headwaters of the Colorado River, with the ultimate guest accommodations including furnished glamping tents, tipis, cabins, and camping.
Designed to inspire couples to explore their own Colorado adventure wedding at the ranch, this expansive shoot was curated to focus on the intricate details of the entire wedding experience including the morning after.
We especially love the men’s handmade feather Brackish bowties paired with complimentary navy and tan suits perfect for the wedding ceremony and a quiet stroll in the canoe. Plus, the dreamy morning hours of waking up in a custom painted tipi with gourmet Bloody Mary’s and brunch in bed. We think the morning after deserves some planning and attention too! —from the photographer, CakeKnife Photography
