Marc and Nathan got married on a beautiful Chicago day in July at Ovation. The day was filled with literary references, from the guest book (The Little Prince), to the ceremony programs (Mark Twain), to the ceremony backdrop (Pluto). The two tied the knot in front of a script of “Plato’s Symposium.”
“We pass our whole lives together, desiring that we should be melted in to one, to spend our lives as one person instead of two, and so that after our lives as one person instead of two, and so that after our death there will be one departed soul instead of two; this is the very expression of our ancient need. And the reason is that human nature was originally one and we were a whole, and the desire and pursuit of the whole is called Love.”
