For this shoot, we wanted to create an experience that was beautifully queer, colorful and unique! Our couple, Justin (he/him) and Tyler (he/they), show off their personal style while taking a moment before the ceremony to take a deep breath and serenade each other with Justin on guitar. Their ceremony features a vow exchange and a handfasting under the disco ball. After the ceremony, they take their seats at their sweetheart table to enjoy brunch and a mimosa! Instead of having a cake, we have a delectable spread of vegan donuts for them to enjoy. After all of the excitement of the day, they take off into the beautiful Seattle spring afternoon on a decked-out pedicab. The style is very fun and vibrant with a touch of whimsy. It was really important to everyone involved to show a celebration of queer love that felt festive and wedding-like and proves that there’s no one “right way” to spend your wedding day!
