Hillary Rodham Clinton, I think I love you. I know someone else is writing your scripts. But you’re putting your name to them, and for that, I’m considering tattooing your name on my forearm. In permanent ink. Maybe even your fancy rainbow logo. Seriously. Is it any coincidence that your initials are HRC? I think not. And now Hillary Clinton has introduced a new video showing just how deep her support goes for marriage equality by showcasing gorgeous and emotional gay and lesbian weddings, something we get to highlight every day.
Clinton’s last words on this tearjerker of a pitch for marriage equality really got to me:
“Some have suggested that gay rights and human rights are separate and distinct, but in fact they are one and the same. Being LGBT does not make you less human and that is why gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights.” — Hillary Clinton
