Side note on the luscious scenery: The video was shot at Engage!15, a luxury wedding conference I spoke at in June at Nizuc, a gorgeous resort in the Riveria Maya of Mexico. My wife flew in after the conference was over so we could celebrate our six-year wedding anniversary, and the entire staff was 100 percent on board with us celebrating our same-sex marriage with them. We felt safe, validated, loved and good being out as lesbians. They sent over gifts of Champagne and desserts to our table and to our villa. It’s an extraordinary destination for weddings and honeymoons alike.
