As the minister who performed the service said that night: “It was the perfect thing to do, in the perfect city, on a perfect night at the right time when all you hear in the news is negative. ” Tom and I proved that you can have a ceremony that is a true reflection of everything that was important to us — a few close friends, family and our dog. When we started to think about expanding the invite list we kept going back to the mantra — keep it intimate so everyone attending could feel they were experiencing the night with us and not just observing from a far. When it came time for the ceremony it truly was a circle of friendship made up of love and a history with each other.”

From the couple, Tom and Paul

“What a special wedding this was: Paul, Tom, and I met after we both got our dogs from the same breeder, and Louise & my clementine are sisters. We remained friends, and they asked if I would photograph their very intimate wedding. Aside from me there were six others. After a huge rainstorm, flooding, and worry about getting down the West Side Highway, the rains let up around 3pm, just a few hours before the wedding. The whole wedding party (all six of us) headed to the pier in Tribeca NY and took pictures, with their dog. Afterwards the ceremony was in their apartment, and it was really heart felt. The couple, Tom & Paul, were childhood friends. ”
