Hoyt Arboretum wedding
Dana and Kat were married on a beautiful morning in Portland, Oregon. Their wedding ceremony was held at Hoyt Arboretum, on a deck surrounded by their closest friends and acres of forested trails. The couple chose to get ready on site, using the officiant’s camper van, which was followed by a private first look between the two. Each donned a custom made suit, one with purple lining and one with orange.
They walked hand in hand towards to their ceremony, while a friend played a lovely tune on her wooden flute. During the ceremony, guests were encouraged to shower them with encouraging words and affirmation. Also included were poetry readings and Kat’s sister serenading everyone with a heartfelt song. After the rings and kiss, everyone joined in to sing “So Happy Together” by the Turtles.
