Hot pink wedding ideas pop in this spring wedding photoshoot. Talented vendors created a colorful celebration set against the backdrop of a chic loft and the outdoors to inspire spring wedding ideas. Bright pink, blue and yellow wedding flowers and colored glassware add to the visual feast, all captured with a bright and vivid photography style.
“I’m all about colors when it comes to weddings and events,” says Qiana Turner, owner and chief event planner at Madison Elyse Events. “I always have been. So when my photographer friend, Alana Lindenfeld, and I talked about a style shoot, colors that pop were our options of choice for the shoot. After researching various places, Loft Lucia in Chicago was the perfect option. Not only is the inside of the venue totally beautiful, but I also knew that the rooftop terrace would give us amazing photo options as well.
“One of the questions I ask my potential clients during a consultation is ‘Thinking about your wedding day, describe the look and feel in three words.’ While I was creating the mood board, I asked myself that question and the three words I came up with were whimsical, romantic and luxe. The color palette we went for was magenta/hot pink, blush pink, robin’s egg blue, turquoise and yellow.”
Shun and Sarita Battles, the models Turner selected for the styled shoot, are a real LGBTQ+ couple. “They have been married for 16 years and are totally gorgeous,” says Turner. “Shun and Sarita are actually former clients of mine. When thinking of who to have model for our shoot, Shun and Sarita came to mind first. Outside of being a beautiful couple, while spending time with them I saw how much they love, honor, cherish and take care of one another and their family. The love between them is real and genuine, and it shows in the photos from the shoot. Sarita’s gown is designed by up-and-coming formal- and bridal-wear designer, Nathalie Loma. Shun’s chic attire came from the stylish, upscale clothier, The Knot Standard.”
