Town hall gay wedding in the United Kingdom

The historic Manchester town hall was the location of Tony and Matt’s wedding. The couple got ready with their wedding party before the ceremony, relaxing in white and blue robes and drinking champagne. White rose boutonnieres were tucked into the lapels of suit jackets and white rose bouquets stood out against royal blue attendant dresses.

Wedding details expressed both marriers’ Scottish heritage. The couple wore kilts down the aisle which, unlike pants, allowed for a garter to be slipped on.  Guests threw thistles as flowers and their cake was a black and gold thistle wedding cake.
