Fashion designer Marc Jacobs married Char Defrancesco on Saturday in a lavish celebration at The Pool, an upscale restaurant, in New York City. The couple has been together for more than three years. Last year, Jacobs proposed to his love at Chipotle with a flash mob performing a choreographed dance to the Prince classic “Kiss.”

WWD reports that the newlyweds Jacobs and Defrancesco said during their joint speech, “Thank you to each and every one of you, our family, who have come from near and far, far and wide to celebrate with us tonight. Everyone in this room has played such an important part in our lives, you all mean so much to us. We could not have asked for a greater gift than your presence in celebrating and dancing the night away. So drink, eat, dance, check out the photo booth. Grab a hoodie on your way out.”
Those hoodie favors were white sweatshirt, embroidered with two otters holding hands above a heart and the inscription “Don’t Float Away.” So cute.
Below, check out that vintage Rolls-Royce the couple arrived in for their late-night wedding.
The iconic designer shared some of his favorite shots from the wedding night on Instagram, as well as some refreshingly authentic pre-wedding prep:
