From the photographer, Susan Hennessey: On March 26, 2017, I photographed Andrew and Randy’s beautiful and joyful New Jersey LGBT wedding at David’s Country Inn in Hackettstown. I absolutely adored spending my morning with two while they prepared for their day. When I asked them what their favorite memory of the day was, Andrew said, “We chose to help each other get ready and that was so fun and romantic.” I loved shooting this portion of the day as well and agree it was so romantic capturing these two helping each other with their ties, shirt buttons and jackets. These two shared plenty of laughs and it was a perfect way to start their day! One of my favorite details of the day is that Andrew, a graphic designer designed all the invitations, menu’s, logos, etc! Their beloved pugs appeared throughout their wedding on everything from their escort cards, the card box and their cake topper. I loved this personal touch! The ceremony was just as unique as the couple! They had the chairs in a circle and they both walked in from opposites sides of the room and met in the middle. There were a ton of tears, sweet words and laughs as these two exchanged rings and vows. Their reception was modern with a rustic touch. I loved the floral centerpieces on their tables as well as the pug cake toppers they chose for their gorgeous Palermo Bakery cake! Their reception was filled with a romantic first dance, hilarious speeches by their brothers and a lively dance floor. Advice for future couples: “Don’t stress over everything, it’s not worth it. It will always work out in the end.”

Now that they’re married, they hope to start traveling more and really enjoy those moments as a married couple. Andrew and Randy will be honeymooning in Prague this Fall!
