Carole and Anne’s Outdoor Pink, Mint and Ivory Same-Sex Wedding

Carole and Anne’s outdoor tented wedding was a celebration of commitment. The two brides shared their love with close friends and family at dusk, set among the beautiful vineyards of Gundluch Buncschu winery. Their close friend, Kate Kendell, was the officiant and they drank wine from their very own label as a symbol of coming together and sharing the fruits of their labor. They wed on “national coming out day” and Kate made an amazing speech about marriage equality and how great an honor it is to continue to see many couples like Carole and Anne be able to be married. The brides each wrote their own vows, and Carole had a piano brought out to play Anne a special song during cocktail hours. They danced the night away and their love was ever present. In lieu of a favors and gifts, the National Center for Lesbian Rights received a donation.
