We had a bubble machine for extra happiness! Bianca is obsessed with Britney Spears and a friend gifted us a life sized cut out (who else can say that Britney was at their wedding?!), Our officiant’s dad helped us to make the bar. We had an oyster bar during cocktail hour. We stood beneath a huppah made of our mom’s wedding dresses. We wore pretty sandals and changed into pink converse for dancing.

We got ready with select friends and took photos with them, but had no specific “bridal party.” The officiant walked in with her husband, followed by Bianca and her parents, then Kim and her parents. We included several family members and friends in the ceremony. Afterward we had 30 minutes of alone time to soak it all in post ceremony (we highly recommend this!). We signed a ketubah designed by the same friend who made our invitations. Guests waved handmade flags and tambourines. Handmade dream catchers hung from the trees  Hand-picked fabrics made pillows and napkins. We had a black and white dance floor, custom cocktails and we removed several traditions to keep the party going (no bouquet or garter toss, no cake cutting).

Our first dance was up beat “Fool For You” by Big Z. Jenga and Cornhole entertained guests. After our first dance we did the Israeli Hora and also took photos with a VW bug as we wish to have one in the future,
