I’m Devon, named for both my grandfather and Devonshire Cream. I change my hair a lot, share too many pictures of my cat, and photograph just about anything and everything with people.
After taking a photography class in college, I hauled my little Nikon D40 around with me anywhere and everywhere, photographing burlesque, sideshow, fire performance, and swing dancing because those were the things I was into. Summer of 2011 was when I got my first full-time photo gig at the US Naval Academy documenting Plebe Summer. I followed that up with a job doing newborn photography for a company while I built my own business but I’ve been flying solo for a while now and I love it.
Nowadays I primarily photographing weddings, families, and portraits, though I still poke my head into the occasional show or dance event.
