Hi, my beautiful friends! I’m Meera. I specialize in the exploration of joy, connection and vulnerability through documentary-style work. I only work with real couples who are best friends. In a world of social media and “perfection,” I facilitate an experience built around loving you exactly as you are and helping you do the same for yourself.
I’m a QPOC, the daughter of Indian immigrants, an empathic soul and an artist with a dry sense of humor. I’m pioneering a new approach to wedding photography, and each of my wonderful couples contributes to our exploration together. My work is about far more than photography or even the single day that is your wedding – it’s about your lifelong partnership, and about each of you as individual parts of a whole. Together, we explore everything – love, identity, trauma, joy, hope and more. Most of my couples tell me that their orientation to their wedding planning changes once we start working together – becomes easier, lighter, more joyful and honest…and most importantly, WAY less stressful.
At the end of the day, I’m here for the joy-chasers. I’m here for people that care way more about living life than displaying it, who question the world we live in and who we’re meant to be within it, who look for meaning and laughter in your day-to-day. I’m here for the people who are equal partners that lean in to everything, who laugh a little too loudly, and get muddy and dizzy and dirty and joyful. I’m especially here for the intersectional: my fellow POCs, feminists and queer folks. Every life, every journey..is here for the honoring.
I travel throughout the Northwest, so don’t be afraid to get in touch with me even if you’re outside Montana. Whoever you are, whether we work together or not…I love you, and wish you nothing but joy as you walk your road!
