Brian and Chad’s Los Angeles fall wedding practically sings modern luxury. From the distinguished details in their exquisite Tom Ford tuxedos (Chad in black and Brian in blue)  each embellished with a succulent boutonniere. With lush reds, grays and blues creating a passionate masculine design on a blank canvas in a private L.A. studio open to the grooms as a gift, it made for a luscious setting for phenomenal wedding design by Beth Helmstetter Events. After the photos, see what the grooms shared about their big day!

FROM THE GROOMS: Chad Olsen + Brian Duck

“Our favorite aspect of the day was that we could design our own program. We didn’t feel like we had to conform to any sense of traditional wedding,” says Chad. “There was not ‘bride and groom’ but simply two people coming together in the name of permanent love. We wanted to focus on that more than any sense of tradition.” “The stuff you do together while planning brings you closer. I never thought a wedding would change things, but it really does,” adds Brian. “It was one of those days when you have this feeling that the sun is shining from within you.”

 From Beth Helmstetter:

“We absolutely loved working with Brian and Chad on their day. As soon as Prop 8 was overturned by the Supreme Court, Brian was on the phone with us and we hit the ground running. Their best friend works for a gorgeous private event space and offered it as the spot for the wedding. We couldn’t have been more excited! For their day, we went fresh, modern and masculine. We loved popping the deep red tones off of the natural graphite, marble and grays of the space. In the end, this made for one of our favorite weddings of the year.”
